So I'm back, hopefully for longer than a day. I really do need to get organized so that I update this once a day. Would be nice if I could just remember to log in. Ah, enough about that. You guys want to hear about the jewelry. I have made over 50 new pieces and have added them to my etsy shop. I have discontined the buying on this site, it was too hard and not enough people stopped by, so please check out my etsy shop at www.jewelrybylp.etsy.com. I have also joined a Etsy group called The Lonely Jewelers and I hope to be able to generate more sales for them and myself. Thank you so much for check this blog out and my shop. More soon.

Sorry it's been awhile since I've been on. I've had a weird past few months. But enough about that, I found my password and I am now back to blogging about everything new. I'm redoing the site slowly. Hoping to add not only more jewelry, but also photography and possibly in the near future stain glass pieces as well. So please keep checking back. This summer should bring about a lot of change!!

It's been an Arty Week

I haven't come up with a witty name for them, but I have created a original painting canvas earring holder. I keep trying to think of what to call it, but that's where I have come up with a complete blank. This one has a home now, so you will not be able to buy it, but I wanted to show it off. All earrings made by me as well as the canvas, the stand is bought. So if you come up with something, and want to help out, please leave your two cents.

As I said before I'm leaving tomorrow, but I wanted to make one last quick post.

Hiatus

I'm going on vacation from September 9th to September 16th, so no jewelry can be sent out, but I will send it out as soon as I get back if someone does buy something. I'm getting hyped up for Christmas season and buying so when I get home you should see a big change in the website, new pieces and sale prices. Please check back.

Polymer Clay and Rubber Stamps

I just picked up a book on polymer clay and its many uses. With the failed cupcake idea, I now have lots of clay to play with. And I can't wait to get started making my own unique pendants, so stay tuned for that. This is just a small update, I have not given up completely on my jewelry because of my set back, but took a little time to re-evaluate some things so now it's time to start trying something a little different. Tell me what you think.

Dead Week

I've been a little depressed with the complete lack of courtesy from the cupcakery, so sadly nothing new has been made this week. Hopefully next week will bring some inspiration and a muse. Cause I really need both right now.

The Beginning and the Cupcake Fiasco

I wanted to start a blog that only deals about my jewelry, or art. So I thought that including a blog on my website would be nice. I will update this periodically to show new pieces or pieces that are in progress, so please check back in.

This weekend I worked on cupcake earrings for a local cupcakery, however when I got to the shop I was informed that they no longer wanted to actually sell my jewelry in their shop, even though they sounded so excited about it at first. I felt that they could have called before I had put so much effort in to procuring a stand and even clay to make the cupcake beads. Understandably I am a little frustrated at the outcome, but like the nice person I am, I smiled, thanked them and then left. So now for your viewing and buying pleasure I have all these wonderful cupcake earrings. Check them out. (all cupcake beads made by me)
